Funko Ghostbusters Gozer POP! Unboxing: Halloween 2026

Funko's new Ghostbusters Gozer POP! vinyl figure was unboxed by Ghostbusters News on 12 October 2026 as part of the outlet's Halloween Countdown series. In short: the US-based Ghostbusters fan media site published a first-look unboxing of a Funko POP! figure depicting Gozer, the supernatural antagonist of the original 1984 Ghostbusters film. The reason it matters beyond fandom is timing — a Halloween-season reveal of a horror-IP collectible signals fresh demand that designer toy retailers, gift shops and online sellers should plan for now.

What the Gozer POP! Unboxing Shows

The segment focuses on the physical product experience: the vinyl figure's sculpt, its paint application and the window-box packaging that Funko is known for. Gozer is a recognised character from the Ghostbusters universe, which makes the figure an easy sell to two overlapping audiences — film collectors and POP! line completers.

• Who: Funko (manufacturer) and Ghostbusters News (media outlet covering the unboxing).
• What: A Ghostbusters Gozer POP! vinyl figure, shown in an unboxing format.
• When: Published 12 October 2026, inside a Halloween Countdown run of content.
• Where: Distributed online to a global English-speaking collector audience.
• Why: Halloween drives horror and supernatural IP interest, lifting collectible sell-through.

Funko has not published unit volumes for this specific release in the source material, so any production-run figures circulating online should be treated as estimated rather than confirmed.

Why Halloween Horror IP Matters to Toy Wholesale Buyers

Seasonal horror licensing follows a predictable curve. Media coverage in early-to-mid October, like this unboxing, tends to precede retail interest from late September through early November in markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan and Australia. For buyers, that means the sourcing window opens before the content wave peaks.

Demand signals to watch

• Unboxing and review videos that generate pre-orders before shelf placement.
• Crossover appeal: film fans plus existing POP! collectors plus Halloween decor shoppers.
• Repeat-purchase behaviour in blind box and series-based lines.

That last point is why many retailers pair a licensed horror item with a designer toy range. Blind box series such as the THE MONSTERS Hair Salon Series - Pendant Blind Box keep customers returning for full-set completion, while character-led figures like the LABUBU Jazz Figure 10cm and the Marvel Spider-Man Action Figure 18cm give a store a broader IP mix instead of betting on a single franchise.
