• What: A vinyl figure - the "McDonagh Funko Pop" - used as a match prop.
• When: The Sept. 29, 2026 episode of WWE Raw.
• Why it matters: A collectible toy became the story beat audiences remember.

Why a vinyl figure can carry a storyline

Funko Pop-style vinyl figures are already one of the most recognisable collectible formats worldwide. They are small, affordable, easy to license and instantly readable on camera - which is exactly why they translate so well into television and social media content.

When a figure appears in a major broadcast, search interest in comparable vinyl lines typically rises over the following days. Brands and retailers often report a short-term lift in enquiries for licensed and original-IP figures, though the size of that lift is estimated and varies by market.

What this means for toy and collectibles buyers

• Speed matters. Trend-driven demand is short; retailers who restock quickly capture more of the spike.
• Mix licensed and original IP. Licensed characters drive search traffic, while original designer toys help protect margin.
• Blind boxes convert. Pendant and blind-box formats keep customers coming back for repeat purchases.
